1. INCOMING VISA

SCHENGEN VISA

It is a Visa for the length of stay of a maximum of 90 days.

LONG-TERM VISA

It is a Visa for the length of stay over 90 days. There are many types of long-stay Visas and the difference is mostly in the purpose (reason) of stay. The most usual is family reunification, studies, or business. A long-term visa for the business purpose is intended for persons who want to carry out business activities in the Czech Republic based on a trade license.

LONG-TERM RESIDENCE

The most popular type of stay permit is for those who plan to stay in the Czech Republic for more than 1 year or for those who are in the Czech Republic with Long-Stay Visa and want to prolong their stay.

WORK VISA

The employee card is a type of long-term residence permit in the Czech Republic, where the purpose of the foreigner's stay is employment (this card is intended for all types of employment, regardless of the degree of professional competence). A foreigner with this type of residence is entitled to reside in the territory of the Czech Republic and at the same time work in the job position for which the employee card was issued. The vacancy must be reported to the Labor Office at the beginning of the process. The approval process itself usually takes 60 days from the submission of the application to the embassy. The employee card is issued for a maximum of 2 years, it is possible to extend it. After proper notification and approval by the MoI, it is possible to change the job position or change the employer.

BLUE CARD

The Blue Card is another type of long-term residence permit in the Czech Republic, where the purpose of the stay is employment. In the case of a blue card, a high qualification (higher education requires) and the employer must guarantee the applicant a wage corresponding to at least 1,5 of an average gross monthly wage in the Czech Republic. A foreigner with this type of residence permit is entitled to reside in the Czech Republic and at the same time work at the job position for which the blue card was issued. The vacancy must be reported to the Labor Office at the beginning of the process. The approval process itself usually takes 60 days from the submission of the application to the embassy. The blue card is issued for a maximum of 2 years. It is possible to extend it.

PROGRAMS TO SUPPORT ECONOMIC MIGRATION

(Key and Scientific Staff Program, Highly Qualified Employee Program and Qualified Employee Program)

At present, these governmental programs facilitate the possibility of processing residence permits for foreign employees. The inclusion of the company in one of the governmental programs brings many benefits to employers and their future employees. At a time when the COVID pandemic has restricted the functioning of some embassies, participation in a governmental program is often the only way to apply for an employee card or long-term visa for business purposes to foreign employees.

PERMANENT RESIDENCE

Those foreigners, who settled down in the Czech Republic and plan to live here and who fulfill all the lawful requirements are allowed to apply for a permanent stay permit.

TEMPORARY RESIDENCE

It is a confirmation of stay for EU citizens and their family members who can be also a no-EU citizen. When a no-EU citizen gets a temporary stay permit, by the Czech immigration law, this person is considered as an EU citizen.

TRADE LICENSE

We are happy to arrange a Trade License for our clients who are interested in entrepreneurship.

CZECH DRIVER’S LICENSE

We offer assistance to arrange a Czech Driver‘s License as Licenses from other countries are in many cases not accepted. We are happy to guide our clients through the process, accompany them to appointments and arrange driving lessons if needed.

FOREIGNER POLICE REGISTRATION

All foreigners (including EU citizens) are obliged to register with the Foreigner Police Department. Our company can offer you personal assistance during the Registration and one of our consultants will accompany you to the Foreigner Police Office.

CZECH CITIZENSHIP

Foreigners with a Permanent Residence Permit in the Czech Republic have an option to apply for citizenship in the country. Our team of professional consultants can support you during the whole application process and will provide you with full support.

BIRTH NUMBER APPLICATION

A Birth Number/Identity Number is a 10 digit‘s number that can be allocated to any foreigner whose Long-term Visa, Long-term Residence Permit, Temporary Residence Permit, or Permanent Residence Permit has been approved by the Ministry of Interior. Our company will provide you with the necessary support in case an application process needs to be conducted separately.
