Selected Legal and Tax Issues Related to the Czech Republic´s Accession to the EU
The Association for Foreign Investment (AFI) in cooperation with its Supporting Partners – ASB Prague s.r.o. and Tributum Company s.r.o. organized a seminar entitled Selected Legal and Tax Issues Related to the Czech Republic´s Accession to the EU, under the auspices of CzechInvest. The seminar was held at the Ministry of Trade&Industry, Politických vězňů 20, Praha 1.
According to an ongoing process of harmonizing the Czech legal and tax system to the one of the EU, AFI and CzechInvest have been organizing series of seminars on related issues. This seminar continued on in attemps to cover the main and up-to-date changes of laws, rules and regulations by exploiting expertal knowledges of representatives of the AFI members and partners.
The ASB Prague s.r.o. presentations dealt with amendments on business rules for non-residents in the CR, forms of corporate businesses and changes in regulations concerning business practice and residence of foreigners in the CR after the accession. The titles of presentations were as follows:
