Investment Incentives
2003/10/30, Seminar & Discussion with AFI member PricewaterhouseCoopers
On October 30, 2003 CzechInvest in cooperation with PricewaterhouseCoopers (member of AFI) co-organised a seminar on the topic of:
"Investment Incentives"
Tax and Accountancy aspects of drawing income tax reliefs,
job creation grants and training & re-training of employees
The seminar was attended by nearly 80 representatives of those companies who had already obtained the Decision to Grant Investment Incentives. Their numerous questions about the beginning of drawing of tax relief, investment refundment from one´s own funds, technical valuation, booking of grants from the Ministry of Social Affairs etc. were answered by representatives of the Ministry of Finance, CzechInvest and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Also suggested amendments to the Investment Incentives Law and the Income Tax Law were presented at the seminar. The seminar was primarily set out to bring together all parts involved in the investment incentives process and to allow direct discussion with state representatives.
