Investment Incentives – Strategic Services Sector

Presentation of CzechInvest on support of technology centers and strategy services

"Expansion of the Investment Incentives Scheme to the Strategic Services Sector and Technology Centers" was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Industry & Trade of the Czech Republic and CzechInvest – the Czech Agency for Foreign Investment on 24th October 2002 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Ministry of Industry & Trade's office, Politických vězňů 20, Prague 1.

The workshop started with a short focus on the new programs of investment support within the context of the Investment Incentives Scheme presented by Martin Turnovský – Director of Industrial Investments at the Ministry of Industry & Trade. Edita Potyszová and Petr Hájek, both from CzechInvest, followed up with a presentation on strategic services, technology centers and investment support. Talking about his experience in establishing Accenture in the Czech Republic was Accenture partner Luboš Miškuf.

The final discussion led by Pavel Rak, Employment Services Administrator at the Ministry of Social Affairs, gave visitors the opportunity for questions.

The event was successful in imparting essential "know-how" on investment incentives for technology centers and strategic services and was attended by nearly 50 partners.
