Kovoprojekta Brno was established on 1.1.1950 as a design company focused on design and engineering activities in spheres of mechanical engineering and metallurgy. Within the frame of the first coupon privatisation it became a shareholding company on 1.5.1992, focused on wide range of activities in sphere of mechanical engineering, metallurgy and civil structure industries. Since 1995 the activites have been extended, based on the major shareholder decision, also for petrochemical projects and also co-operation with foreign investors, including execution of turn key projects.
