ATELIER TSUNAMI s.r.o. (Ltd.) was founded on December 3rd, 1992 as a successor of a physical entity conducting business under the same name since April 1990. The company has gone through dynamic development throughout the years. At the very beginning, the company had an office in Náchod with 3 designers focusing mainly on projects related to privatisation of sales networks and small sales outlets. The company then participated in numerous projects for banking sector, which were the main driving force for further development of ATELIER TSUNAMI s.r.o.
The office was moved into new and larger premises, the number of employees gradually reached up to 10 and the company acquired new clients among foreign companies that started to develop their businesses within the Czech Republic. Design and construction of Kimberly-Clark production facility in Jaroměř, which was nominated for the Building of the year award in 1997 and declared the best industrial design in Hradec Kralové region has lead to the start of an intensive co-operation with Skoda Auto a.s. car maker.
Focus on foreign customers and clients resulted in further development of the company. The number of employees rose to 30. The company started its own English language courses, acquired ISO certification, deepened co-operation with universities including the Technical University of Munich. Furthermore, the company has opened its offices in Prague and Brno in order to extend the immediate coverage of contacts throughout the Czech Republic.
